Meena Sansanwal
Divine Manifestation
At the heart of Divine Manifestation stands the female figure, not as a literal representation of womanhood, but as a primordial vessel, Shakti and Prakriti, from which all energies emanate. Across paintings and papier-mâché sculptures, the body transforms into a cosmic mandala, containing the elements, rhythms of nature, and pathways toward higher consciousness. Woman becomes landscape, sanctuary, and source: at once earthly and transcendental.
Taken together, the works in Divine Manifestation reveal Meena Sansanwal’s sustained journey of inner excavation—each artwork an act of self-discovery and a passage into what she describes as a trance-like state of creation. This publication celebrates her evolving practice and invites viewers to enter a world where the sacred and the surreal coexist, where imagination becomes a pathway to spiritual awakening, and where the feminine itself unfolds as the cosmos.
A selection of works from Divine Manifestation was showcased by Black Cube Gallery in 2026.
